Another sunset drama

After chasing the light for chiaroscuro images, I went into my kitchen to prepare supper, and the sky was creating another show for me….. Here’s three images as it unfolds:

Wildly vibrant

Toning down

The Blue hour

  1. We have a clear starry sky tonight, but we didn’t get a great sunset. Nicely captured, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Sue, I like the way the trees are forming silhouettes in the evening light. Well done!

  3. I love watching and photographing the changing light. well done.

  4. We had some pink streaks tonight, but last night was a real humdinger of a deep pink sky. Couldn’t take my eyes off it!

  5. Lovely shots. So nice that you have not only beautiful skies, but those trees to frame the shots. 😀

  6. Lovely sunset, especially the first shot, beautiful tones.

  7. I would never get anything done till after sunset with those mesmerising skies to watch
