Shadows and flowers 2

Last week I posted an image when the sun was fairly low and casting shadows of the blind in my front room onto the wall besides a vase of flowers. Well, this weekend has been all about a vase of daffodils in a number of guises, and this is the latest, taken yesterday afternoon:

I kept the little pig in for those who admired it last time!

  1. Talk about mileage out of those daffodils. Such diversity. This a beauty with its duplication in sharp shadows.

  2. Think this one lacks the drama of the black background in the previous photo, the blind shadow dominates

  3. I have been buying two bunches of daffs a week recently (I like a mass) but they don’t last long in my house as we have underfloor heating so the only cool spot is in the conservatory and then we wouldn’t see or smell them! I did consider some photography, but keep leaving it too late. I like your shadows here (and the sweet pig… )

  4. Count me in as one of the pig-lovers, Sue. Very nice indeed.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  5. Love this elegant image…!

  6. Pigling Bland and nice shadows 🙂 🙂
