Anyone following this blog will have surely noticed that I have a favoured place for taking silhouettes…often, on a sunny day, I will see what I can find. i have used different lenses, but still got a way to go experimenting with aperture, and I may never get what I am looking for. But for now, it’s a numbers game…

Two:

Five:
Love the photos! How long did you have to wait for the numbers of by-passers to change?
Oh, these were taken on a number of different occasions!
hi sue, the photos are very interesting, could not say which I like best.
greetings robert
Thank you, Robert! The light can be great there
I remember them well, and they are no less impressive for a second outing, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
You hadn’t seen them all, as some were taken today!! 😊
Apologies! I thought I had, but I confess to getting old and confused of course! 🙂
😊😊😊
Heavens, that’s a lot, Sue! Have you a favourite? I like the big one in Two and the last one particularly. It annoys me that sometimes these don’t look ‘straight’. Not a criticism of you, just problems with horizontal. 🙂 🙂
Well, I take images here when I get a chance on a good sunny day, so a few to choose from. As for the ‘straight’ it has to do with the angle I shoot from inside the tunnel, and the odd shaped architecture!
Oh, and I was pleased with that last one…
My favorites are “one”. I like the light there.
Thank you, Dawn!
I like the big image in sequence 2. Not only the light and the way you’ve caught it on their heads and shoes, but the figures are striding in unison and have a certain energy about them.
Yes, I was pleased with that one, and the long morning shadows….
Are they taken close to home Sue?
Indeed they were!
Now where did 4 go to Sue? Like the energy in these images
Might appear today….
👍
Great shots, Sue. Now I have visions of you and your camera lurking in a tunnel for much of your day. 🙂
No, no, no! These were taken on a number of occasions!!
