Discrete, not Discreet!

Deb’s has us finding images to illustrate discreet, but I really couldn’t find anything, so I offer you discrete instead….spoken aloud, they sound the same!!

Walking a discrete distance apart:

Discrete in the street

Linked o One Word Sunday here

  1. Fascinating monochrome photo!

  2. Ah, the foibles of the English language, Sue.
    Nicely done.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. Oh, you cheat! 🙂 🙂 But very nicely.

  4. Though one could argue you photographed from a discreet distance, and shot backs not faces.

  5. Well done, Sue, word-wise and photo-wise. Mine could have gone with both meanings, but I didn’t think of it.

  6. Clever interpretation, Su has hit the nail on the head

  7. Great shot. I agree with the others, it works both ways. 🙂

  8. Very clever Sue.
You did throw me with this. The two meanings were too close together in my brain – I kind of knew they were different, but they just weren’t discrete enough! And this is an attempt to be discreet about my lack of knowledge 🙂
