Another trio of butterflies

These are my best three images from Wednesday at Wisley: really pleased I managed to come away with a few decent images, given that I wasn’t having the best day, physically…

This year at least we saw a number of different butterflies, but don’t ask me what any of them are! Click on any image for a slideshow – it really gives you a better view.

I am linking this to Paula’s Thursday Special which is Trio…a bit of a cheat, but let’s see what she says!

  1. Not cheating at all. There are three of them. Didn’t you pick up a leaflet at the glasshouse? I got one when I went to see the butterflies a few years ago and that helped me identify them. They are very pretty and these shots are lovely.

  2. These are excellent Sue. It is so hard to get good focus on these small lively beauties, even on a good day. A wonderful trio

  3. Lovely capture of the beautiful butterflies!

  4. they are all 3 beauties –

  5. Great details indeed. Well done, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  6. A great trio, sue, and I’m sure Paula will be v. happy with this interpretation. I am!

  12. You did indeed get good photos of these constant flutterers. I love butterfly houses. Did any land on you? Pity about the heat.

  13. I love them, who can resist that intense flash of blue? the best ones I’ve ever Kuala Lumpur, but my pics weren’t much good at all.

  14. pity you weren’t able to enjoy maximum of your visit. nice shots anyway.

  15. I’m saying – bring it on :). These are remarkable, Sue!
