Delighting in Our World
Very nice, Sue. I have never been to Puglia, but I have drunk enough Pugliese wine in my time! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Hhaha!
What ia that roof made of???? It looks maybe thatched, maybe tile, and the heavy vines on the edge make it look like a gorgeous hat of some sort. I notice it seems common in that area.
Tile, as far as I’m aware
I like the shot of the roofs and the one of the cat best, Sue. I also have never been there but I, like Pete, like Italian wine. 🙂

Many thanks, Janet! And I, too, am a fan of Southern Italian wines!
A place I have always fancied seeing.
I actually preferred the more rustic, less touristy Basilicata region (and the ruins of Craco Vecchia, the shabby Matera)… But Puglia came up trumps with photographs!
Lovely.
Many thanks!
Very cliched but I’d have liked to stay in a trulli 🙂 🙂
I didn’t do that, but I did stay in a converted cave in Basilicata!
I love the conical roofs, they look like frilly sunhats where the foliage is just beneath them!
Don’t they just!
