Adventure means new places, new sights, new experiences… here is a small taste from my perspective:
Finding old ruins:
…follow that (railway) track:
come across scenes at the end of the day:

Finishing work, Transylvania
and finding yourself in the middle of nowhere:

Beautiful photos. I still have no idea what it is really like there, despite having been there as we discussed last time.
Glad you like these images Donna…and actually, all but the first one from Romania. The first is a WW1 ruined fort in Verdun, France.
Nice
Thank you, Kelly!
🙂
A great little photo essay. What a wonderful adventure that would be. 🙂
Thanks!
So many different kinds of adventures. Personally I enjoy most the last option you show – finding myself in the middle of nowhere. 🙂
😊😊
So true – adventures are everywhere!
Yes, and frequently in unlikely places
I think it is undeniable that you have had your fair share of adventures, Sue. And you have documented them all in photos too.
Best wishes, Pete.
Oh, I believe in having adventures! Makes for a fulfilling life
Fantastic photos!
Thanks, Peter
You’ve had so many! I’m particularly impressed by the way the light falls on those lines to delineate them so sharply.
Well, I’ve had a few adventures! Apropos the light on the lines…early morning around dawn in northern Romania, near the Ukraine border…just wonderful l
it looks lik a dream… I’m dreaming of vacation when i see these pictures. So beautiful!
Oh, thank you!
Where’s that first one, Sue? Reminds me of a Yorkshire walk I’ve done. 🙂 🙂
A ruined unrestored WW1 fort at Verdun (Souville). Was the Yorkshire ruin the lime kilns at Rosedale?
No Sue. It was somewhere with caves and woods. I can picture it but not tell you exactly where xx
Oh, OK!!
In my next life I intend to be a traveller 🙂
And you’ve signed up for a next life, Gilly?
Oh yes!
😀😀
Beautiful, Sue, oh that railway track has got my Wanderlust fired up! 🙂
Oh, glad to be an inspiration, Ailsa!
Love photographing railroad tracks! I have tendency to lean towards certain lines when I take photographs. They also remind me of that movie Stand by Me – which I loved.
Something about railway tracks! Glad you liked these
Lovely pictures! And I loved the way you’ve captured them 🙂
Thank you!
We love to find the adventure in the everyday. So much to explore! Thanks for more inspiration.
You are welcome!
Love the photo of the railroad track- the movement of coming or going ……..
Thanks!
