Another take on yesterday’s Still Life

This was my favoured composition, this time shown in monochrome (and lightened a little):

  1. The embroidered cloth stands out well in B&W. I still like the colour one. 🙂

  2. Like them both… there is something in the arrangement that make me sorrowful

  3. Oh so hard to choose, Sue!
    I love the softness of the black and white version. There’s a feel of mystery, but also sadness.
    The colour is warm and less sad.
    So I think my favourite would depend on my mood.

  4. There is something about those soft dun shades that really draws me. Colour edit for me 🙂

  5. I can’t choose now, but I might crop a sliver off the bottom.
