One Word Sunday: Orange

A couple of (very different) takes on Orange:

Vibrant decaying flowers at Wisley

More One Word here

  1. Fabulous. Love that artwork.

  2. Both great shots, and very ‘Orange’ too!
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. Jackie

The artwork looks familiar, seems like I’ve seen something like it.

  4. Both lovely and connected too (until you look closer at those ‘flowers’ being picked). The Heleniums are my favourite though, I love them, but fear they won’t be happy in my garden. Golden yellow and attractive orange-red streaks – it is the reflexed petals that make them so attractive, they look as though they are dancers in frilly frocks.

  5. Love both Sue! My favourite colour too.

  6. Scary, full of fear disguised as beauty.

  7. Jude is writing my comments 🙂 🙂 Better at it than me.

  8. oh yes, an artist I like: it’s “Say it with flowers” by Osch – I love his orange works. They usually very pleasant at first look and then disturbing when you look closer.
And I love your flowers too Sue – a classic Sue shot
