Thursday’s Special: Pick a Word in October Y2

Really glad to see Paula back, the blogosphere hasn’t been the same without her…

Of the five unrelated words she has chosen for us, I am going for mountainous, spanning and crumbling. So here goes –

Mountainous – here are two that particularly say mountainous to me:

Tyrol:

Caucasian mountains in Romania

Spanning the generations, waiting in traditional dress for the parade, Maramures, Romania over a decade ago

Crumbling cliff at the Panama Canal

  1. Carpathian mountains in Romania, and not Caucasian Sue ! I am sorry !

  2. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. You managed to include mountainous scenes in all of your interpretations. It is the most therapeutic landscape and environment for me. I appreciate your warm welcome, Sue. I missed you and your wonderful posts.

  4. Wonderful vistas – and big envy – you’ve sailed the Panama Canal?

  5. The grandeur of mountains always takes my breath away. Love these images Sue

  6. I liked all of these, especially the women in traditional dress.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  7. The first two look as if Little Red Riding Hood might pop on the scene. Love the traditional dress too.

  8. Ahh look at those ladies faces in ‘generations’!
