As I was taking a photograph of the wonderful old buildings lining the canal in Colmar, someone was taking a photograph of our punt…. I don’t think I noticed at the time, but going through the archives, I found this scene… wonderful reflections, and look at those magnificent windows

  1. Love, love, love Colmar and got some wonderful shots there myself a little over a year ago and fodder for several posts. Such a serenely beautiful shot.

  2. Worked well at every level. Nice one, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

Thanks, Pete! And I have found another one from Alsace…post it soonish

      • I once went to Strasbourg, but otherwise don’t really know that part of France well. I will look forward to catching up with more from that area.

Alsace is a lovely region..some beautiful towns in the wine producing area, ruined castles in the north, lovely countryside and fantastic food! What more to want… Sadly, a good few years since I last visited

  3. Superb composition; wonderful reflection; great foreground; lovely building colour; oh, and of course, the accidental One.

  4. Not a typical Colmar shot. It seems to be beautiful whatever side you look 🙂 I would love to see more of your memories from Colmar.

  5. A commanding view, you both had! 🙂 🙂 Glorious shot, Sue.
