Ooh, that’s lovely! Again 🙂 🙂 I just removed a very dilapidated gerbera from the vase on my hearth and consigned it to the bin. 😦 Thought of you, Sue. Happy Sunday!
Thanks, Jo! I love throwing things together for a Still Life! I try to think about shapes, colours and textures as I compose….very rapidly! No careful hours of planning here! Have a lovely Sunday, Jo! 😊😊
A sunny garden morning then a visit to another Open Garden this afternoon. 🙂 You?
If I had more energy, an Open Garden would have been nice,,,,but I had a busy day yesterday, so taking it very easy today, and Italian Grand Prix highlights soon….plus a Webinar later
Webinair about something photographic? 🙂

I have to say I think you have excelled yourself here, Sue. The choice of colours works so well, and the bright area in the bottom left contrasts perfectly with the darker centre. You have found your metier, undoubtedly.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete! But surely this is my second string to my bow, the first been abandoned decayed and ruined buildings, or cars!!
Decay is your passion indeed. But this is surely where you excel, as far as I am concerned. Still life is hard to get right, and you get it right.
Best wishes, Pete.
Oh, goodness, I’m blushing….
I’m agreeing with Pete 🙂
Many thanks, Tish….I’m blushing again
Well done no matter how long it took. Perhaps a symbol of passing summer? 🙂

Haven’t got all the comment, Gilly!
Lovely conversation between dying flowers and embroidered ones.
Well, that was my immediate thought when I was given those flowers!
