Some numerals found on decaying structures…or rescued old structures in France. From Maginot Line forts to the old motor racing circuit of Reims-Geux, I saw quite a few numbers, with varying functions:

To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
I love that old machine dial. That would look great in someone’s ‘Designer Loft’. A real conversation piece.
Best wishes, Pete.
That’s a point!
These numbers had been important once. Great finds.
Indeed they were! I knew if I checked through some old images, there would be some numbers somewhere….
Made me think about all the important things – how long will they stay this way?
We can’t possibly know…all we can say is that nothing lasts forever…
Nothing indeed
These are great, Sue! Pete is so right about the machine dial. 🙂 🙂 Or you could have a tryptic of these photos on that same wall.
😀😀 I could, but there are plenty of others to usen!
I try to avoid numbers outside of work!
Tee hee….so do I, but I really need to sort out some financial numbers….
I recommend visiting flea markets for old dials… love yours… especially those with rust
OK, but such places are hard to find here…
A lovely series. No one does ‘decay’ quite like you 🙂
I am hearing this from a few people….I shall have to believe it!
