Looking across from one old wreck of a car to a rather grandly shaped vehicle with very large wheel arches…. must have turned a few heads in its day! I am guessing 1940s, but I could be quite wrong! I think this was one of my favourite finds – it just looks so atmospheric almost hidden in amongst the trees, it’s colours blending in with the forest. Were I better on my feet, I would have tried to get closer.

Under the trees…
I love it when your car knowledge glows. And in this photo there’s the bonus of forest and bark, and the phytotelmata developing on the hood of the foreground car
Had to look up phytotelmata, Meg! You wordy one, you!
I love the concept – but I always have to look up the word myself!!
Oh, good…I feel better now!
This is a good one, Sue. I immediately though I was looking at a Citroen Light 15, built from 1934-1957. Have a look at this link, and see if you agree. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C336063
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, nice idea, Pete, but the Citroen Light rear window is the wrong shape, and the forest vehicle appears to have a much rounder and bulkier front wheel arch…the Light seems a much gentler sloping arch! Still no wiser!
Oh well…
We shall never know!

Ah, I think this might be one of your favourites from Kyrkö Mosse…..
Closer, maybe…but this works quite nicely…
Glad you think so, Robert!
