Satisfaction for me is a job well done, a personal challenge met, getting to see a place for myself that I have heard about, and it meeting expectations…… for example.
Personal challenges have included my ‘One’ series of images with just a single person in the frame, the idea being that in doing so, there is frequently a story, even if only an implied story.
The image I am going to show here is of a place that, in its abandonment and dereliction most definitely met expectations (it was the subject of my recent post: https://suejudd.com/2017/07/24/postcards-from-my-past-7/), and here I am posting an image with my one person in the frame, perhaps imagining the cheering crowds of the past at this place.

I never fail to be amazed at how you always manage to find those ‘ones’ for this series. Another perfect shot for the theme, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Eyes wide open, Pete!!
Love your motivations for “satisfaction”…
And the possible story accompanying this photo…
Thank you, Anna!
A very evocative image Sue!
Many thanks!
Oh I love these moment in time. So evocative, and stirring. Great image Sue.
And I’m enjoying revisiting the place in old images!

Well, I posted it not long ago…a lovely rotting car seat!!

And satisfied you should be, to say nothing of inspiring others (me).
Well, thank you very much, Lynne! 😊
You’ve done a great job with the series, Sue.

I can here the roar of petrol guzzlers!
It was the most atmospheric place, Gilly…I could almost see the 1960s cars, and hear the crowds!
