My Photography
I often wonder how many people have a beetle story that lurks within their memory
Plenty, I should imagine! I loved the sound of those air-cooled engines……
Mine had a bandaid painted on the left rear bumper…deductible was way outside my college income
Such an organic car..
Isn’t it just!
Hmmm, tricksy! By making the “B” a “b”, you misled us. 🙂 I had a ’75 bright yellow Super Beetle for many years and dearly loved that car. It could go almost anywhere and I figured if I ever got it stuck, I’d just find four strong, preferably hunky, men to lift it out!

Yes,I can be tricksy, Janet!! 😳
Such an iconic shape, Sue. It seems to be at home in the woods though…
Best wishes, Pete.
It seems to be settling in!
Ha! Why was I thinking of the crawly kind, Sue? Must be because I’ve just come from Tish’s place. 🙂 🙂
Haha, because I said beetle with a small b, and no mention of VW!!
A great intro, and another piece of beautiful decay.
Glad you like the intro and the image, Meg! I had a whale of a time at that place!
It’s wonderful 👏
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Great , Sue…!
Thank you, Anna!
You’ve got to wonder how it ended up there. Great place. I would have enjoyed coming upon it.
Around 50 years ago, chap used to buy cars for spare parts, and he lived in that forest….
Ah! A little gnome-like guy who loved the smaller bugs.
😊
I think it’s dead 🙂
Yep, me too
That’s a great find, Sue!
Quite a few of them!
! It’s wonderful 👏
Isn’t it?!
! I think it’s dead 🙂
And has been for years!
