Black & White Sunday: Low-lying

Here’s some cars slumped under the tall trees deep in a forest, lying ever lower as they age and disintegrate:

Lying low in the forest

As these cars get closer to nature as the forest moss engulfs them, they do become quite hard to spot in this image!

  1. Yes, the cars .. really melt in with nature – great shot.

  2. They really are difficult to spot, Sue. I think I just got eye-strain. 🙂

  3. The beauty and texture of the trees wins! I didn’t notice the cars at first. I think you must have the most unusual interpretation of this week’s theme, Sue.

  4. It is good to see them being reclaimed by nature, but a shame that they were thoughtlessly dumped in a woodland to begin with.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  5. A car graveyard! Cool B&W Sue.

  6. Yes, definitely the most original take on the theme. I can think of a million places more suitable to store this piece of decay than woods. When will the man ever learn! Thank you for the beautiful capture and rendering, Sue 🙂

  8. I first thought, Cars, what cars? So I squinted a bit!
    Nice one.

  9. A grave yard for past treasures!

  10. A car -cemetery…..
    I would have never guessed!
    Awesome, Sue…
