More a portrait than a headshot, but here goes anyway!
This lady in Cuba offered me the seat she was in after she had seen me wobbling about trying to keep my balance in the heat…I declined, but asked if I might take her photograph (all carried out in gestures and my few words of Spanish!):

Portrait of Cuban woman
The kindness of strangers frequently has me humbled.
More headshots over at Paula’s here
She has a nice friendly face.
Best wishes, Pete.
Indeed! A very good natured demeanour, too
Very nice Sue – you’ve captured real warmth in her eyes
Thanks, Debs!

Amazing. It’s humbling to see pure kindness. Wonderful portrait, Sue!
I find the Cubans to be very kind, friendly people….Glad you like this portrait, Paula. At the time, I was a bit worried about it because I had the wrong lens on, but she looks OK, luckily.
A lovely face, and a lovely story. Black and white serves it well.
She has a lovely face, and beautiful eyes…black and white definitely worked best. Glad you liked the back story, Meg!
isn’t she beautiful and a golden heart too!
Absolutely!
A beautiful portrait.
Thank you very much, Fraggle
What a lovely face she has! You can see that she’s kind. Great portrait, Sue. 🙂 🙂
Thanks, Jo…glad you appreciated this, I don’t think she has had enough attention on here!
When I had a cane before my back surgery, I was amazed at how kind people can be if they have a good heart. This lady’s face is as beautiful as her heart. Nicely captured.
