  1. I wish I could capture our local ones!

  2. Nice to see a white one, we only get blue/greys here.

  3. Beautiful birds 😀 Have you been watching Springwatch? I was amazed to learn that they’ve only been nesting in the UK for about 30yrs now! I was lucky enough to see a pair down at Pulborough Brook.

  4. Nice egret, Sue. We have a pair of those over Beetley Meadows, but Ollie always scares them, so I never get a photo.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  5. Perfectly placed – and perfectly oblivious!

  6. I love egrets. Our place in the desert has a water hazard (golf course) outside our kitchen window that attracts them. I never cease to marvel at them and they have made their way into my poetry often enough.

  7. Not often that you see an Egret in a tree – you must have been moving very quietly Sue, they take off so easily at the approach of a Human.

  8. Took me a while, but here I am, Sue. Gather you’re not handling the heat too well? I love the attentiveness of this chap. 🙂 🙂

Over to you...
