Gorgeous!
Thank you, Anna!
What is this “sun”, of which you speak?
Well, we have had some lovely warm sun in recent days, albeit interspersed with blustery wet weather!!
I love poppy season. Red flowers on the sides of fields, heads waving in the breeze.
Good to get the bee in the shot too!
Best wishes, Pete.
Yep!
“… remember me, this is forever England.”
The colour-cheerful poppy always stand out, Sue. Lovely shot. Wishing you a great weekend❣️
The colour-cheerful poppy, indeed, Dina…. Glad you like this, and Happy Weekend to you and the other Fabs!
So much warmth in this photo, Sue. And so shivery outside. And my poppies are a tad mangled.
Oh dear, it’s been warm here!
lovely!
Thank you, Fraggle!
Classic image, Sue! 🙂 🙂 Happy Saturday!
Thanks, Jo! Have a lovely weekend! I ‘m exhausted now, after a cave and a sociable lunch !
A cave! At least you’d stay dry 🙂 🙂 Take care, Sue.
A cave that was used in the war as an air raid shelter, with a number of items from that period…. Very dark in there, I didn’t do well with taking photographs
Maybe you’ll be able to produce something with photo editing. An experience, anyway? 🙂
An experience, but I have also discovered I hit the manual focus button in the dark, so I have blurred images. Duh!
😦
C’est la vie….
Such beautiful flowers!
Thanks, Janaline!
I’ve found that poppy’s reds are difficult to photography…you’ve done a great job!
Thank you, Brenda!
wonderful photo, Sue. We had some like this in our garden, too. Have a nice weekend,
regards Mitza
Many thanks, Mitza! Have a Happy Sunday
a few poppies in the sun = happiness!
Yay!
Lovely. A perfect post for Saturday, Sue. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, Debs! Have a great remainder of the weekend yourself….
They’re so fragile, I hope the sun keeps shining on them.
Hmm, yes, we’ve had some terrible winds recently so they aren’t so perky now!
I love the fringing, and the colour, and the blurred lurkers. A cheerful post.
A blurred lurker…whatever next?
