Grreat shot! Nightmare if that’s home 🙂 🙂
Had it not been Wordless Weds, I would have called it Welcome to Hotel Forlorn! It’s in the Azores, a great monstrosity overlooking Sete Cidades lakes….. I was having lunch with a friend yesterday, who lived in Portugal briefly some years ago, and she told me that she understood it had been built by the communists, but never took off and it has been ruined ever since.
You have photos of the lakes???? Get them published, immediately! Please 🙂 🙂
Here you are, Madam Demanding, posted early April: https://suejudd.com/2017/04/02/silent-sunday-02042017/
I have another couple, they might show up in a post sometime
If I was really demanding I would expect the hydrangea to be in full bloom too 🙂 🙂 Drops curtsey- thank you Ma’am!
How, how delightful! Thanks for the curtsy, Jo!
I suspect that there are a few hotels like this on our coast too. A disgrace in a fabulous shot.
The whole of the interior was ripped out by thieves, and it’s an eerie, bare she’ll…I only had 5 minutes to have a quick peek, but I have a couple of shots, coming soon!
I like the subdued tones in this.
Thanks, Fraggle!
Great composition Sue. Much prefer this view 🙂
Haha!
I’m working backwards through my Reader posts, so I got to the Hotel Forlorn shots first. Ditto my comment there. 🙂
