One / 78

Off to Brick Lane again, for this ‘One”. I just loved this street art, what a striking portrait (she could have been the ‘One’ herself)! And I think it all comes together with the colour palette – that of the painting and the spectator. No greens, and no tatty jeans…

Striking portrait, Brick Lane

  1. The mix of the colours on the wall and the lady photographer worked perfectly, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Oh yes, a stunning piece of work.

  3. A strong face, Sue, and very beautiful. I probably would have left your ‘one’ out of this one, but that’s just me. 🙂 🙂 Hope you had a happy Sunday.

  4. Brick Lane is taking on mythic proportions. This ones a beauty: the variety of surfaces, as well as that wonderful face. But I want to know what you’ve got against green!

I haven’t, Meg….it just that it would have upset the colour palette, as would certain shades of blue, for that matter!!

  5. Suzanne

    What an amazing painting!

  6. A masterpiece, Sue. That very special face and the textures and colours around it – gorgeous.

  7. I also agree with you on how the lady’s outfit matched the wall art. NIce capture
