I expect our council food inspectors would have a field day in that shop!
Nice six-worder, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, my thoughts entirely, Pete – I reckon the Cubans have fabulous immune systems!
I like this pig-head that smiles softly, even though it’s dead
Mitza, it looked a bit rotten two me…urgh!
oink
And oink to you too! Have a good weekend!
An unexpected title – until I saw the photo. A lovely combination of pignk and greens blue, although it lacks your usual elegance. We are so overregulated.
My usual elegance?! No, I think I know what you mean….and yes, we are over regulated a tad!
ahhhh, yes. What a shot.
Teehee!
Bacon is meat candy!
😀😀
Oh brilliant!
Well done Sue. Much more “real” than any I saw. I’m beginning to think you must have been on jet-fuelled roller skates to get to see so much (and take great photos too)
Before I left the UK, I booked up with Cuban tour company to take me around in a taxi into downtown Havana, because I can’t walk too far these days, and once I got there, I asked the driver to stop when I saw thing s I wanted to photograph – worked a treat!!
Yes, I thought you’d had a taxi, but I’m amazed you managed to find so much like that. You obviously chose well. Your images are so personal there’s no hint that you weren’t just wandering around back streets
Job done, then!!
I am with Cardinal on the pork issue, but I can’t eat anything with its face still on 😀 This is a fresh post from you – a bit different like Meg said. (not that it lacks elegance :D)
I try not to get in a rut, Paula!
And you shouldn’t. I would like to see more pigs’ heads on your blog from now on – or lambs’ or others 😆
Erk! Unlikely!
