  1. A picture paints a thousand words.

  2. I’ve seen those expressions on waiting faces all over the world! 🙂

  3. I feel depressed just looking at it. God knows how they feel, Sue. Resigned, I suspect. 😦

  4. The poverty of hopelessness–yikes.

  5. They go hand-in-hand, don’t they–feed one another.

  6. They do look resigned to their fate. Not sure I would wait there though, that building looks as though bits might drop off on their heads at any moment!

  7. What glorious pink, like Jo’s rose, and a bit of accidental mosaic too. An interesting mix of people too. Although the photo evokes a disturbing mix of responses. Is this what all Havana looks like, or did you brief your guide to find dilapidation?

  8. Very powerful image Sue – really tells a story!

  9. Wonderfully decrepit building – boy, does he look bored 😉

  10. Smashing image Sue. I love a picture that tells a story..
