To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
A great silhouette shot, Sue, And a sunshine reminder is certainly needed today!
Glad you agree!
Beautiful silhouette! Love the pots on the wall, too.
Many thanks, Emilio….a lucky shot, I was waiting for lunch and this image played out a few tables away!
¡Ay-yay-yay!
Not
???
Read have read Brr-brr-brr!
😀
Capturing a mysterious gentleman … your time waiting for lunch was well spent Sue 😉
😀😀
Great silhouette and altogether a smashing photo, Sue.
Hope you are doing fine!
Thanks, Dina, glad you like this…. I’m doing fine, thank you, trust you are all well at Cley?
At the moment we are in Norway, waiting for the snow. 🙂 We’re fine, thank you. x
No snow in Norway?
Great photo, Sue. It’s also inducing a spaghetti western theme tune. Ha! The man with no name, just an impressive hat.
When I saw that hat, and created the silhouette I immediately thought Western!!
Oh good-dee!
Teehee! You said the man with no name, but a snatch of tune in my head is ‘a horse with no name’….but can I remember the song?
I remember that song… the Eagles, the Byrds. No. No. OH says America. They appeared at the club venue he ran with a chum in Wolverhampton ‘Bubble’
Yes, it was America…glad I found reference to it (as it had been going round in my head irritating me), and listened to a YouTube clip, which took me back around 30years!
Those kind of memory trips get ever more surprising as the decades mount. How dare they accumulate like that, and then ambush one 🙂
Agreed! And it’s not even things that matter….
I feel warmer already, Sue. Fortunately, even though it’s not very warm, the sun is out and I’m doing some baking, both of which combine to make me feel warmer. What I like about the shot the most it that there’s a bit of that over-whiteness you can get from the sun, especially towards the top of the shot, which enhances the feeling of sunshine-created heat.
janet
Glad I’ve warmed you up, Janet! It was a searing hot, bright day that day, which has led to the ‘over whiteness’ you speak of!
And that’s exactly the feeling conveyed, at least to me.
😊
P.S. “Horse with No Name”, by America http://j.tinyurl.com/jocfksy
Yes, I looked it up a short while ago!
A bandito! Was he fast on the draw? I’ve got that America album, Sue. Or I did! 🙂 🙂
He looks the part, doesn’t he!
I find the composition of the picture very interesting, portraying very well some of the elements of souther spanish culture, which are familiar to me.
Glad you like this, Eleazar
I now have that song in my head!
Haha!
Love the light here, Sue. Good feelings coming through.
Good!
