The light and smoke (or is is steam?) makes for some interesting visuals here, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete
Steam, Pete, from a pub kitchen!
Though I’m walking down that street (in the imagination, you understand) my eye is drawn by that medieval bastion …
Great capture of the light and shadow! The smoke from the kitch is great! 🙂
Glad you like!
Lovely atmosphere and it looks vaguely familiar, go on put me out of my misery!
It was taken in Reigate, Surrey…a little way from you!!
Wow, what a great photo, Sue. I especially like the silhouette of the man.
Thank you, Pat! I am a bit into silhouettes at present!
I wanted to zoom in to read the sign above the door, but thanks to Gilly I now know where you took it. Nice mood in the low-lying winter sun.
Thanks, Paula! Winter sun is supposed to be arriving later, but we have a snow flurry at present!
I can imagine. Today we are having rain, sleet, and snow later in the day. People are dying in the streets from cold. It has been snowing in the coast too.
I bet it’s much cooler where you are…horrible for homeless people
Must be, we are receiving cold from the Alps.
Brrrrrr
A superb shot that would work perfectly for the ambience challenge!
Didn’t think of that!
Super capture, Sue. Love the silhouette man. He gives the scene an air of mystery.
Thanks, Sylvia – just what I thought!
