To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
stunning in it’s simplicity! I love it on black!
Many thanks, Hannah! It’s not quite as I would like it, but not a bad effort!!
very effective from my view!!
😀
Ooooh! This is amazing.
A single flower lit by side light from a window, TV as backdrop! Worked reasonably….perhaps not quite as sharp as I would like….
Stunning image!
Thanks!
This reminded me of the work of a memorable photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe.
Here’s a link to some of his famous flower shots

Simple, delicate and inviting…
Thank you, Sally! Simple was definitely what I ŵas aiming for….
Oh! This is really wondeful, such great black and white choise!
Thanks, Lena….I started in colour, but I think monochrome takes it up another level…..
I agree with you!
Thank you!
Delicate and elegant image, Sue. I like very much.
Many thanks, Isabel!
la calla è un fiore magnifico, elegantemente ritratto!
Mucho gracias!
Monochrome beauty!
Thank you, Ann-Christine!
Using B&W really emphasizes the light and shadows on the flower. Well done, Sue.

Yes, much more effective in monochrome, Janet!
You’re very creative Sue.
I do try, Gilly!
As good as those we saw on Tuesday!
That’s being a bit too kind, Ellen! But glad you like it…
Perfectly captured exquisite beauty!
Many thanks, Paula…I shall post another one in less contrasts light sometime soonish…
That will be interesting to see 🙂

I’ve been trying to make my mind up between drama and subtlety 😉 … I think this one is just ahead for me Sue . Lovely simplicity and the lighting works so well .
So subtle for you! Thanks!
Ooops, drama, I mean….
Another beauty Sue! This reminds me of Mapplethorpe’s flowers.Such brilliant photographs!
Thanks! This was the better of the two in my view
