Graffiti seen in Malaga

I didn’t do a lot of wandering around in Malaga, alas, but saw a few interesting things and some distinctly odd graffiti.

We start with some very ordinary tagging stuff here, taken at night and not the best clarity:

Then a rather curious little vignette, which might have been larger ar one time, looks like it’s been peeling away?

This one is perhaps a distant nod to Picasso with all those eyes:

…and finally, a series of 5, seen on a doomed building.

What it’s all about, I have no idea…..

  1. What an odd collection indeed. Beautifully distressed walls and doors make a good canvas

  2. I enjoyed this unusual selection, Sue. That graffiti artist has real talent.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. These are great. The last five are quite original. Great captures!

  4. Those shuttered doors caught my attention in Barcelona – but your last five are real works of art and unique. There must be a message there, but I don’t know what it is.

  5. I have no idea either, but I like them anyway.

  6. Some of them are real TROMPE L’OEUIL!
    Thanks for this share!

  7. I always love discovering street art!

  8. The last five photos are really interesting art, I guess it could be about stereotypes and victimization. At least that is how I look at it, but I could be so very wrong. Great and very unusual murals. Great post!

I seem to appreciate graffiti more and more as I get older. Is it just me?

  10. Wow there must be some message in this. Disturbing and fascinating at the same time.

  11. Some great finds, Sue – that last one really does have a three-dimensional feel to it – helped I am sure by your choice of view.
