To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Those cats look calculating, if not downright evil. Should we be concerned about the child? Beautiful placement of the flowers, by the way.
I saw this little arrangement at the Surrey Sculpture Society Trail at Wisley the other day – the pieces are The White Queen, Feline Queen Fan, and Child of Rhyme…. I took one image of the scene as it appears (for a later post), and the this angle which lends an air of mystique, or even menace….
Nice sculpture group, Sue. The green cat is perfect!
Best wishes, Pete.
See my response to Meg, Pete! I used a shallow depth of field to try and get the effect I wanted…
And it worked!
Cheers!
Wisley, of course! 🙂 What are they plotting, those wicked looking guys? She doesn’t seem too perturbed. Wonderful shot, Sue.
Thanks, Jo! It was a great little vignette….
I love this. It’s beautiful and sweet.
Thanks, it was a great little vignette….
A rather startling image, Sue.
Startling, Sylvia?
If I was that little girl, I’d turn and run.
Well, yes, those felines do look a bit threatening, I suppose! But if she’s not running, what might that say about her? 😳
Maybe she’s a cat whisperer. 🙂
😀😀
Meg is right. There is something mean and menacing about these cats. Fabulous capture!
Indeed…malign felines….
I never trusted cats anyway.
No, quite!
Agree on the menace…but beautifully caught. What facial expression is on the girl?
Funnily enough, I only have a rather oblique sideways shot, so I can’t really see, but she looks calm enough…..
She does…from behind…maybe she is stiff with fear ;-D
No!
Oh I love it 😀 What a conversation!
The cats look a bit threatening! And now I wish I had looked at the girl’s face…I don’t think she looked perturbed….
She looks quite placid I think!
Glad to note…that fits in with what I thought
😀
Ooh creepy eyes, I hope she has a dog nearby!
One way of looking at it…not too far away was a pug and a pugilistic boxer (appearing in a post soon) – perhaps they could come to the rescue!
I certainly wouldn’t want to meet these kitties in a dark alleyway!
Yes, they do look a tad evil!
