Wishing you a lovely Sunday, Sue!
Greetings from Bonn,
Dina x and the other ones in Cley xxx 🙂
And Happy Sunday to you in Bonn, Dina! And the Cley residents too! Xxxx
That first one is so delicate against that background, and I’m a fan of the diagonal composition too. I hope your Sunday is unfolding pleasantly. I’m off to orchid day at the botanical gardens. I hope there are some natives.
Glad you like them, Meg…I love seed pods and decaying things (as if you didn’t know!) Hope to find some more tomorrow…. By the way, did you see my post on the few images I had from Muskau? I called it Missed Opportunity https://suejudd.com/2016/09/16/missed-opportunity/
Sunflowers look so vibrant in high season, it’s a shame to see them dying. Good photos though.
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, shame it may be, but at least some passing bird has had a good feed, Pete!
I like these even more!
So do I! Thanks, Gilly!
Lovely – a great Sunday evening to you, Sue!
Thank you, Ann-Christine! And you have a lovely evening too
Sue only you can make these dying plants and flowers look ever so beautiful. I’m not a big fan of autumn and the thought of snow ahead but these images do make me smile.
Thank you, Sue! Glad you like them
Poor sad sunflower has lost its smile. 🙂 Lovely capture, Sue.
But it’s kept some hungry feathered creatures happy!
I have never seen photos of dying sunflowers before. Striking!
Oh, thanks, Paula!
I love the tones and textures in these shots, beautifully displayed!
Thank you, Susan! I love nature’s decay when it’s like this…
