For Paula’s Thursdays Special, I picked the word Pursuit. Well, actually, the pursuer has succeeded, and overtaken the slower car, but hey, does it matter? This was the best example from some images taken a good few years ago at the Circuit des Remparts, Angouleme, France.
…but here’s one from Le Mans Classic a year or two later:

Hop over to Paula’s for more here.
Great old cars, and well-shot, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Ah, that was quite a while ago!
I love it when you reveal your speedster past! Pursuit too in the sense of pursuit of a prize! And pursuit too to describe your interest. You’ve obviously nailed e word.
But wasn’t the speedster here! And I never raced (sadly!) only rallies…
A fabulous setting for a race circuit, better than Monte Carlo IMHO – great action shots Sue, my sort of subject 🙂
Thanks, Robin! Alas I don’t do this sort of thing anymore…
Superb Le Mans shot, Sue! Now that’s what I call a pursuit 🙂
Thanks, Jo!!
Great idea and photos for the challenge, Sue. How wonderful that you were able to be there for the excitement. 🙂
Oh, it was fun to watch
They are beautiful! Cool captures, Sue. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Thanks, Paula!

Ahh, those old classics are real beauties, not sure I’d want to race one though!
Oh, I would have done when I was fitter, if someone had offered me the chance to race….
These are great shots. The second one really captures the imagination.
Thanks, Suzanne…I mad wanted to be a bit more imaginative with my response to this prompt but I ended up choosing an obvious post’
It was a tricky prompt – it utterly defeated me. I couldn’t think of a thing.
It will always happen – we all have different takes on things, and some prompts leave me clueless, but that’s OK!
