  1. Ultimate decay. What an absorbing composition, Sue. Especially like the shadowy foreground, and looking out into sunlight that’s brighter if not happier.

  2. It looks peaceful, and suitably silent too. The different angles of the slipping headstones make it very appealing as an image.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. Very three dimensional!

  4. Our younger daughter and I enjoy visiting cemeteries. They are, as you say, very often quite peaceful and give birth to much conjecturing.

  5. Yes, I guess it would be silent there, except for maybe a bit of birdsong. Great image, Sue.

  6. It’s such a strong image of a fairly scattered place. You’ve merged darkness and light beautifully.

  7. a wonderful, enchanted place, looks like an old jewish cemetery

  8. Sun shining on the righteous? 🙂 🙂

  9. The light and leaning jumble make this look like a very welcoming place.

  10. This is the second Jewish cemetery I stumbled upon today, and I have only been on three blogs so far. This light is soft and beautiful, Sue, though they rest in darkness.
