I love fonts, especially the Eastern Bloc, pre-1989 ones. I also have a penchant for 1920s/30s fonts from the Art Deco period. Your examples are very good indeed.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete! Glad you like these. I’m with you on Art Deco, by the way
So glad they were rescued! 🙂
Indeed!
There’s something magical about just the name Neon Museum, isn’t there — I can imagine a film or novel with just such a title — but to have exhibits as stylish as these, perhaps with their own little slice of history or significance outlined in a caption, that must be the icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing, Sue!
Glad you liked these, Chris…did you see my earlier post on the museum?

I did, I did! So glad you’re doing a follow-up post — or maybe posts?!
Ah well, I’m at the end of this little journey now…
Great captures of these beautiful old fonts, Sue. 🙂
Thanks, Sylvia! The whole museum was a wonder!
Nice…
They were great!
Yes, they’re splendid!
Glad you agree, Gilly!
Splendid indeed! Here they would have been discarded as trash.
Well, they nearly were, apparently
I love the colors in these. I’ll have to visit for myself, but you and Viveka have made me feel as if I don’t really need to. A beautiful post.
Oh, you should still see it, Meg….I’m sure you’ll have a different take on it!

Wonderful. I love these, especially the ones in the bottom left corner. 🙂
Thank you!
Ah, love, love…the colour as well!
Yes, they were great
