  1. Love the shadows on this one, Sue. The patterned paving works well too.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. This is one fabulous photo, Sue. I love the light and the clear simplicity of the silhouettes. There’s a timeless quality too.

Glad you like it, Tish…I would have preferred the tree not to be there, and tried cloning it out as an experiment, but impossible with the paving to match up!

  3. Oh, I do really like this one!

  4. Mmmmmmmmm!
What an eye you have, Sue….

  5. A visual koan: “A static movement”

Thanks, Marcelo – you have just introduced me to a new word, in koan…..I like it! I think paradox would be my best translation

  6. Sun? Where on earth did you find it? 🙂

  7. Great shadows – you have a good eye Sue.

  8. That is an excellent photo. I love the play with geometric shapes and long shadows.

  9. Love how the shadows and the actual lines of the pavement merge and look like one thing. Very interesting effect!

  10. An absolutely perfect photo, especially those shadows. You’re beginning to get me fixated on push bikes.

  11. Love this one, Sue. 🙂 I suspected Warsaw but had to hunt through the comments to be sure. You don’t tag with place names, I’ve noticed. 🙂

  12. Sue of course this photo just jumps out at me. Sometimes when I can see my shadow cycling I think of it as a friend. Encouraging me along. this photo makes me smile ear to ear. This cyclist has a very big friend. 🙂

  13. Love the shadows and patterns…

  14. Love the shadows and patterns..

  15. So light and beautiful.
