A determined-looking young lady, who appears to have ‘somewhere to be.’
Nice shot, Sue, the black and white is very crisp.
Best wishes, Pete.
Glad you like the monochrome, Pete!
Love the dappled summer light and that one very striking figure.
Thanks, Tish – glad you like it 😀
When I see photos like this I always wish the person could see it!
There’s always the danger they wouldn’t like it….
Nah, not this one.
😀😀
Great shot, Sue, with just the right amount of decay. 🙂
Minimal, in other words!
Are you letting us down lightly? I was steeling myself for a barrage of ugly from Praga. 🙂 🙂 And this is rather beautiful. Enhanced by the black and white? Weekend hugs, Sue!
Teehee! There are a few ugly from Praga, but this was my gem! Hugs to you!
This is rather lovely and I love the arrow pointing in the direction she is moving!
D’you know, call me observant, but I hadn’t noticed the arrow!! I was just drawn to the decrepitude as a backdrop, had just missed a chap sitting nearby then along she came, click!
I saw this! I can’t believe how different your eye makes it look. You have such a personal style. Thank you for the gift of this one.
Thanks, Meg! I knew you would like it 😀😀
Lovely capture Sue – waiting for the passerby was an excellent move!
Thanks, Tina..I was pleased!
Wow, what a great image !!!!!! Excellent work in B/W!
Thanks, Vivi! I was pleased with this one…
Superb capture Sue! Love how the B&W enhances the shadows. Your ‘One’ series reminds me of this brilliant account on Instagram that features solo walkers: https://www.instagram.com/josetoro.0/
Glad you like it, Madhu!
Perfect composition.
Nice of you to say so, Pauline!
love the play of light and shadow!
Thanks!
The striking contrast with youth and aging building is what I like the best in this picture.
As did I!
