Another image spotted from the canals at Copenhagen – those beguiling geometrical patterns, and a lone figure on her bicycle.

  1. Very special picture with all the lines and perspective. Nice!

  2. The biker and the red fence grounds this image.

  3. Love this special pic!

  4. Agree with Lucid Gypsy – and I love it.

  5. Oh yes, very nice. I love the red. It adds extra interest to the almost monochrome picture.

  6. Just have to say Sue this is a fabulous series, has been from Day 1, keep them coming…

Thank you, Sandra! I seem to be drawn to the single figure in a frame, so I am sure this series will keep going, but with stops and starts….

  7. It’s fun that even though the human figure is there, the bike has lines and lines almost hide both rider and bike.

  8. I’m awed by your capacity to keep this ONE going. Your person absolutely makes this shot, although it has so much else going for it: the many diagonals, the boxes, the blue, and the orange railings. I imagine a theme like this one incites you to see more than you would otherwise.

I started taking occasional images with a single figure in the frame a few decades ago, Meg! Long before the theme suggested itself to me – as I said to Sandra, I seem to be drawn to the single figure in a frame, so this series will keep going albeit in fits and starts…..

  9. The cyclist looks almost caged, caught on a cone seperate the the other vertical bridge supports. Super shot Sue!

  10. The red fence is a nice feature, and makes for a different kind of shot. Nice one, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  11. Another great abstraction with lines and shapes. I really like how you framed it, with the lower edge being the path on which the biker rides. A strong composition.

  12. She nearly got away! 🙂 🙂

  13. Really nice capture, Sue. Great components interestingly framed.
