Mundane Monday: The Wasteland

I’m having a go at posting for Mundane Monday, “a challenge created to find beauty in almost everything. The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs.”

Most would dispute seeing anything beautiful in this image….but I do love the textures!

  1. I agree. Multiple layers of textures make this shot.

  2. Even rubbish has its part to play in this modern world, Sue. I like the way that the blue stands out from the drab colours elsewhere.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. When we see with the heart, beauty is everywhere.
It is easy to say but so hard to achieve.

  4. Yes, textures aplenty, Sue. Your lens captured them beautifully. 🙂

  5. Me too, with an eye like yours and mine, it’s hard to do mundane!

  6. Almost looks like wash draped out to dry. Nice accent color and it leads the eye inward

  7. And textures you have got 🙂

  8. It’s a clever challenge, making us use our eyes better to find the images that everyone else passes by.

  9. Made by Sue. Great!

  10. The textures and mystery floating around the waste land make it an interesting image.

  12. Far too many of them in our inner cities whilst good, productive land is turned into housing estates. A telling image Sue!
