I have been nominated by my friend Gilly, the very lucid Gypsy, to take part in a challenge of a photo per day for seven days, of anything from the natural world.
Following on from yesterday’s pre-dawn ‘blue hour’, here is the scene as the sun appeared on the horizon….now we have a much warmer colour!

Dawn sun
Today I would like to nominate Leya (Ann-Christine) to take part in the 7-day Nature Photo Challenge. She takes some lovely images from natural world as she sees it on her travels, or walks locally. She loves trees, and has a sub-blog called Warden Spirits, all about trees. I would love to see what she might come up with for this challenge….. No problem if you are far too busy for this, Ann-Christine!
I might have to start getting up earlier, Sue. (Or staying up later…)
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, this is only something I do (extremely rarely) when on holiday!!
Beautiful
Thank you,Sonya – it was a sight worth getting up early for!
I do favor the warm tone here
Well, that’s nature…depending on the time of day, you don’t have a choice!
Indeed!
I can feel the warmth, Sue! Thank you for the nomination – of course I cannot say no…neither to you nor to my favourite topic…♥ 7 days…and one nomination a day…The problem will be to find bloggers who are not yet in the game? I’m on!
Yay! Thank you, A-C! 😀
Thank You for letting me in!
I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Love the warm tones in this photo, Sue. Looks like it’s going to be a gorgeous day. 🙂
It was!
A great shot of a thrilling sight Sue!
Glad you like it, Patti 😀
Glorious dappled clouds!
They were, Gilly!
Yes, I like warm too 🙂 Beautiful, Sue.
Glad you like it (and no birds killed with this one 😉😉)
I love the silhouette on gold!
So do I!
Are you taking us through the day? I would love that. Your photos of time are exquisite.
Well, it would have to be you that sussed it, Meg!!
Did you have to walk far to find this beauty? Loving the scene of beautiful contrasts.
This was taken on holiday…..but conveniently was the scene outside my room!
A lovely start to the day…
It most certainly was!
🙂
You captured a golden moment. Stunning.
It was just so marvellous to witness….
