Just squeezing this one in before Paula’s next Thursday theme tomorrow! I’ve been away for a few days, then gone down with a stinker of a cold, which means I’ve been inactive in the blogosphere..
Anyway, here are some images of urban art that I have posted previously:
Sinister ET:
Let’s Stik together:

Stik and Sprite
Creepily Sinister:

Hop over to Paula’s for more examples here.
Obviously read your posts the wrong way around! Hope the stinker of a cold has gone where such things belong – far far away!! What a great collection – I especially like the second one, so simple and full of implication. I suspect they are characters I don’t know.
The only one that is a character is ET…the first one, but he has been transformed into a sinister little thing. The others are respectively by the artists Stik and Phlegm, and items of similar street art by these artists can be seen in different areas of London’s East End…
Great images, Sue. The last one is very quirky with the pointing finger. 🙂 Hope you’re recovered now.
Thanks, Sylvia…I was pleased with that last one. Alas, my cold is getting worse, I might be unlucky with this one. 😦
Oh so sorry to hear that. Take good care of yourself. 😘
Thank you, Sylvia, hopefully it won’t be too protracted…
Sorry to hear of your cold. Ugh that is never fun. I remember some of these images. Love the ‘Let’s Stik Together’ especially.
The Stik image was a gift of an image…the existence of the can of Sprite makes it a picture with a story, as the little figures look longingly at it!
great photos, Sue, hope you get well soon, regards Mitza
Thanks, Mitza! 🙂
Oh, sneeze. Hope you feel better soon!
Thanks, Phil!
Wrap up warm and break out the brandy, Sue! 🙂
My variation is more prosaic…keep warm, loads of water and plenty of rest….hope it works!!
Great series, Sue – not possible to choose a favourite because they all are. And, do get well now…we do not want you to be absent from the blogosphere…♥ ;-D
Thank you for your kind wishes, Ann-Christine xx
🙂
Sorry to hear you have been ill Sue, I thought I hadn’t seen you around recently, but then I haven’t been blogging as much myself. OH had a horrid cough for about 10 days, which he then kindly passed on to me, fortunately mine wasn’t so bad. I hope you don’t get that!
Preoccupied; away; and now full of cold…. Which might not be quick to shake off… 😦
Well actually, no I don’t like this response. Hot drinks, lots of fluids and lots of rest.
Well, my response to Jo was plenty of water and rest (which is exactly what I have been doing)….so we’re on the same page :)0
Get well soon Sue, colds are just the pits… Nice urban art, you find the most interesting subjects and love how Stik is looking longingly at the sprite.
Thanks, Pauline…I’ve done well avoiding colds for about a year, I reckon – but this one is digging in..urgh
Anyway, glad you like my choices here 🙂
Do you have flu shots over there? I’m due to have mine again this month. Hope you are on the mend
I have yearly flu shots because of my MS…. As for this cold, early days yet
😦 We both had stinkers. I hope you are doing much better now, Sue. This is a very fun collection. I appreciate it a lot.
Glad you like these, Paula – it’s time I found some more street art. Today would be a great day , lovely sunshine, but alas not going anywhere with this miserable cold
I love that middle one, Sue, and ET with a gun is very amusing.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete!
The last image is really creepy, especially with the backwards arm!
The backwards arm??
Lovely images. I love walking around and taking phtos of the street art of cities I visit.
Glad you enjoyed these, Janaline 🙂
