Had a busy day today, but returned home to see these tulips were just falling over, so here they are:
Hopefully, I can get more mileage out of them in the coming days!

Tulips really don’t last very long. I’m sure you’ll make the most of their demise though. 😃
I rather hope so, Sylvia, although you never can tell quite how they will decay….always an adventure!
😅
Oh-oh! Here we go again! 🙂 🙂
Here we go again? Is that an insult or what, madam??
What can you mean, Sue? Merely remarking on your liking for forlorn flowers. I was peering at crocuses today. Not so much scope for decay 🙂
🙂 🙂
loved the gorgeous tulips!! will keep enjoying them for a bit longer too, I’m sure.
and the comments here, kept me entertained as well! cheers, Debi 🙂
Glad you like my tulips, and enjoy the banter, Debi!
a bit of chuckling never goes astray!!
Absolutely!
I would enjoy them, too.
Good to hear! 😊
That middle leaf is superb, and so is the sense of imminent transparency in the petals. I love this series with the no-background.
Well, I do love a bit of negative space!
A Decay Away a Day Challenge? Seriously, tho, these are beautiful.
Ω
😀😀 – love it! And glad you like the image, Allan
Have you done a bud to decay sequence Sue?
Don’t have the opportunity much now, no longer having a garden…but I have done enough images of peonies in different stages, so you have prompted me for a post!!p
…and they are lovely!
Hope to take some more images tomorrow, when I should have more time….
You always do these so well. Worth a book one day, I reckon.
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, I have been considering that, Pete!
Wunderschön liebe Grüße und eine gute neue Woche lieber Gruß Gislinde
wonderful photo, Sue, I love decaying flowers, cheers Mitza
I know you do, Mitza!
:))))) great
I always thought tulips were a study flower. They are not delicate looking like some others. Many bloggers post pictures of nature in all of its stages. I have learned to enjoy flowers even at the end of their life. Your tulips are still beautiful and I am sure if they could speak they would say you gave them very special care. 🙂
Thank you for your lovely comment, Esther – my tulips would appreciate it if they had feelings, I’m sure
Wonderful image; I love the amazing beauty of tulips, but they definitely don’t last long.
Just under a week for these!
Beautiful …now I’m waiting for the next stages!
Haha!
Lovely in colour too.
Thanks, Paula – best in colour, I think!
I’ve a feeling we will be seeing more of these beauties in posts to come…
Well, fancy that!
🙂
If nothing else, you captured them beautifully in this shot. Love the crisp colours.
The colours were gorgeous!
