Garden Photography: Monochrome

Well, I have at last created a post in response to Jude’s challenge…she has been mildly rebuking me, and commented recently that she was still waiting for my entry….. I hope this one is up to snuff, Jude, best I can do at present (after all, cut flowers don’t count as garden).

I would have preferred to better position the skeletal petals, but I just couldn’t find a way. Nevertheless, I think there are strong shapes and not too few distractions. A very wide aperture helped, so here it is:

  1. So, so delicate. Love it!

  2. This does look like my photo, Sue, only in monochrome instead of the natural winter sepia. Even if it’s not the angle you wanted, it’s lovely.
