To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Nice image, Sue. Like a drawing in one of those old botanical reference volumes.
Best wishes, Pete.
Absolutely! Glad you agree, Pete 😀
I agree with both of you, it’s beautiful, drawing-like. 🙂
Thank you, Dina!
It’s gorgeous. Definitely worth the squeeze!
Thanks, Debbie!
simple and beautiful
Thanks, Robert!
I know how difficult “simple” is.
Indeed…took me a while to work out how to do these things’
Gorgeous Sue. I agree with another it reminds me of a drawing. Lovely.
Thanks, Sue…Victorian Botany stuff!
really great how you put this flower in the photo, Sue. Wish you a wonderful weekend, regards Mitza
Thanks, Mitza…I’m getting to love decaying flowers!
I have to agree as well. It is serene and like an old drawing. Beautiful!
Thank you!
This is amazing, Sue!
Thank you, Paula! Glad I fitted this one in….
Beautifully minimalist and supremely elegant. My mental still life is buckets and spades desanded after the twins left. Life is indeed still, now they are back in Warsaw.
Hmm…buckets and spades de-sanded….interesting!
It looks too alive for a still life, Sue, but that is in no way a criticism 🙂
Still alive, but fading fast….
Just the way you like them 🙂 🙂
😀😀
You do this so well Sue.
Thank you, Gilly, what a lovely compliment !
Grace and elegance – lovely Sue!
Many thanks, Ana! I had another comment re elegance and minimalism…elegant that flower certainly was as it faded
That’s stunning in its simplicity!
Ah, this has to be one of my best recent images…previously I have only shown it in colour, but it works quite nicely in monochrome
I am looking forward to more of your fabulous decaying flower shots – and this could be linked to my monochrome month 🙂
Oh,goodness – I was going to do some of your garden challenges….
Ahem… still waiting.
Oh dear….
No, I mean still waiting for a monochromatic image from you for the challenge! I will email you shortly 🙂
OK!
Beautiful Sue!
Thanks, Patti, one of my favourites!
