It didn’t let up at all here yesterday, sounds like the same for you?
It was pretty wild after about 11am…I noted the forecast,, went for a quick trip into town to get some things I needed, then stayed put for the rest of the day! Woken up to sunshine and calm this morning…..
Looks chilly!
Well, the main thing was to avoid being knocked flying by the gu sets….so I stayed indoors
Very neat Sue – not easy to catch the wind on ‘film’ but you have succeeded.
Thanks, Robin!
looks like a nice day to stay inside. We are waiting for the storm, too. Hope you are fine, regards Mitza
Yep, definitely a day to stay indoors! How are you?
Thanks, I’m fine. It’s very stormy here, too and we had a thunderstorm some minutes ago, but we also had some periods with blue sky where I could ride my bike, but I have to be careful as we live in an area with lots of trees that sometimes fall down in stormy weather. Regards Mitza
Gosh, yes, you mind those falling trees, Mitza
I guess I have a very attentive guardian angel, hehe
Excellent!
Nice wind capture in those branches, Sue. We had 50 mph gusts here last night, but rain too. No chance of me venturing out with the camera in that.
Best wishes, Pete.
Oh, I took this through my living room window! No discomfort or risk involved….
And it’s going to get wilder, so they say! Very evocative, Sue
Glad you like this, Andy…. And yes, they have said tonight will be wild
Loving the movement 🙂
Yes, it’s worked to some extent
Plenty of movement outside my window today!
Mine too 😟
Doesn’t look very silent Sue. Stay warm.
Actually, no, it doesn’t does it….
Wind and cold snaps really worry me when there are blooms this early, it doesn’t take much to damage the early buds.
I have been saying the same to people here, Charlie
You’ve captured the feeling of movement and wild weather Sue
Thanks, Pauline – it’s worked reasonably well…..
Very wild, and still wild here in the west country…your photo captures the mood perfectly Sue..
Thanks, Sherri – it’s still pretty wild here, too
Storms here as well.
Seems to be no escaping them…
Well, it is winter after all 🙂
Well, yes…but unusual for us, here, to have winds of this strength
I love the wind!! Beautiful Sue!
You love the wind? It wasn’t so much fun when it was wild gusts….but I guess you are talking about my artistic prowess?!!
oh I rather like wild weather. We have lots of squalls and gales on the coast!
Oh, right! 😀
I heard!
Absolutely!
Perfectly illustrated!
Excellent! Glad you think so, Madhu
I’ve just seen some storm photos over at Dina’s and here you come with this almost-abstract beauty. I love listening to the wind, and seeing trees bending their branches, and streets being emptied 🙂
Thank you, Paula – pleased it works!
Beautiful Sue!
An experiment that worked quite well! 😀
