We are challenged to show our take on Trio. Here are two of mine:
Firstly, some kids playing near the sea one evening in Lanzarote

And here’s a trio of jazz musicians performing in a winery, also in Lanzarote.

I love the shot of the children, Sue. The blur works so well. (It would have been useful for the ‘Blur’ category too.)
Best wishes, Pete.
Glad you like it, Pete! I’m partial to a bit of blur in images if it helps the story!
I spent so long trying to avoid blur, when I should have been embracing it instead!
You and me both, Pete!
The blur feeling works perfectly, Sue, and the second photo is wonderful. So much character in those faces and the use of B&W works to focus our attention on the faces and shadows.

Thanks, Janet! Glad you like them….the Jazz session was great, a last-minute decision on our part to go along ….
Love the action of the young trio. 🙂
They were fun to watch!
Fabulous capture of those kids!
Glad you like it, Angela!
Thanks for the great discussion of Blur. I’m partial to your moody shot of the jazz trio.
Thanks, Carto! The Jazz shots were snatched where the opportunity arose, because there were quite a lot of people packed into a small, darkish space!
I like the expression on the drummers face!
Priceless, eh? I think he saw me taking the photo…
I also love the first shot, Sue. Would like to hear the Jazz. 😃
Glad you like the first image, Sylvia. As to the Jazz, it was a most enjoyable evening,,.
Lovely shot of those kids – feel the fun of it! The B&W of a “real” trio is great. The middle musician makes such a funny face!
Glad you like my action shot of those kids! As for the drummer, he certainly had a very expressive face!
…to say the least!
😀😀
Great shot of the kids playing on the beach, a great trio
Thanks! Glad you like!
For me the first one is just wonderful. You have captured a fleeting moment with so much energy and in a perfect moment. A grand example of Cartier-Bresson’s decisive moment. I love the combination of blurred motion captured and movements frozen.
Many thanks, Otto…pleased to have produced a ‘decisive moment’ image!!
