Silent Sunday

Autumn colours

Autumn colours

  1. Beautiful, inspiring colors… 🙂

  2. I’ve just rescued your blog notifications from the limbo I put them in while I was away. And here’s my reward. The colours are wonderful of course, but what gets me is the composition: the layering of colour patches and then the centrepiece of the bare white tree.

  3. Lovely to see you Sue, and I hope the rest of the day slotted into place? Where was this photo taken?

    • Sue

Likewise, Gilly – lovely to see you! My day went very well after the earlier hiccups! Had a lovely lunch, great chats with my friend at lunchtime and a most convivial afternoon with my other friends. Oh, and the photo was taken at Sheffield Park a couple of weeks ago

  4. poppytump

Love the stark tree set apart Sue. Sounds like you had a lovely day 🙂

  5. Greta colours Sue and I love that stark tree contrast – silver birch?

  6. OOpps Sorry for the typo – No idea who Greta is but your colours are great! 🙂

  7. Lovely autumn colours, Sue.(I have more leaves than that awaiting collection in my back garden!)
    Best wishes, Pete.

  8. So beautiful and such fun, your image really captures the spirit of autumn.

  9. Just right for Remembrance Sunday Sue.

  10. I love the vibrant maples and the skeletal structure of the birch, beautiful autumn image Sue!

  11. Autumn, my favourite time of the year!

  12. Great photo. The trees in varying stages of losing their leaves is just beautiful!
