Love this, Sue. Great reflection shot, and superb colours in the dead leaves. First-rate.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete – I love it too!
A beautiful photo Sue. I found it captivating.
As did I, when I saw it!
Sue, I like the just-out-of-focus leaves and the somewhat odd feeling I get when I realize that the background is a reflection and have to adjust what I think I’m seeing. Hope that makes sense, but I really like the photo. It’s very peaceful as well as seasonal.

Thanks, Janet!
Fabulous image, Sue. 🙂
Glad you like it, Sylvia
Love the contrast Sue .Warmth in darkness .
That’s one way of putting it, Poppy!
Nicely captured. I love to see what is reflected in a rain puddle – or is this a pond?
It is the edge of one of the lakes at Sheffield Park! I’m so pleased you posted those images recently, got me to see for myself, stunning at this time of year!
Oh, I’m so glad you managed to get there, it is superb isn’t it? I hope you’ll post more images.
Lots to show! Plus sunset at Newlands Corner…
That’s another place I was heading for, but for the rain 😦
Oh dear…have you ever been?
Passed by on way home from my daughter’s house a few times, never stopped in the car park though. Great views!
Stunning views, and the sunset was a real treat 😀
Good job, Sue. I like the combination of color and black/grey. I see Fall turning into Winter—October into November.
Ω
Yes, I thought it was suggestive of transition….
This one seems to encapsulate most of the elements.
Thanks, Gilly! It appealed to me….
I really like how the water and reflection is almost monochromatic and the leaves are in bright, full color.
That was the appeal for me…no need to ‘pretend’ with software, Robert!
I love the use of the reflection as a strong element in your image and the use of the fallen foliage as a gentle node to autumn.
Thanks, Charlie, for your comment – glad you like this one!
Very much so Sue, very nicely done!
Thanks, Adrian – glad you agree!
We are always hovering over the land of dreams, sometimes they are in black and white, others colours blind the eyes.
What I meant to say is that: “Sometimes we dream in black and white and others we dream in colour, but unfortunately the colours blind the eyes.”
Oh, I see!
So mundane. So beautiful 🙂
Waddya mean, mundane?😉😉 at least you redeemed yourself by saying it’s beautiful…..have another cake!
It’s a cracking shot, Sue! …even before cake came into play 😉
Haha, engage brain, no cake required! What’s on the menu today?
A wholesome chickpea stew. That’s the official version, and I’m sticking to it 😉
😀😀😉
So lovely, Sue! Hidden depths to this one 🙂
Indeed, and I nearly fell into the depths!
Oh no!!! A bit like the gardener at Thorp Perrow? 🙂
😳
A lovely visual taspestry. Quite unique
Thanks! I like the idea of unique….
What a lovely shot Sue – and it definitely says so much without words!
Thanks, Tina, that was the thought behind it!
Excellent capture Sue! I love all the colours and the reflection in the water. Autumn is such a great season. 😀
Thanks Sonel, only just seen your comment….much appreciated
Not well, Sue? You haven’t been around for a day or two. Sending hugs 🙂
Thanks for asking! I’ve been a tad busy with life generally, and might not post for a day or six, we’ll see! 😳
That’s good! No worries 🙂
Captivating as I find it hard to tell where reality and reflection change.
Thanks, Sue….I thought it worked well!
Love this one – colour, colourless reflections, autumn.
Thanks!
Very cool! It’s worth a frame, Sue.
Thanks, Dina!
So beautiful and artistic. Fascinated me. Thank you, love, nia
Thank you Nia….very pleased you enjoyed this xx
beautiful colors 🙂
Thanks!
