Well, here goes for another occupied bench, for Jude’s October bench challenge. Haven’t come across any statues ob benches, myself…
And yes, Jude, you’ll know where this one is

Nice place to enjoy a chat about the view, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
It is!
What a perfect place… I think there is comfort in that company.
Look like it, doesn’t it? 😊
Beautiful
Thanks! Glad you liked it
You’re welcome! Do check my travel blog
Ah, yes, plenty of benches there 🙂
😀
I know where it is, Surrey 🙂 🙂 🙂
You need to narrow it down a bit, Gilly!
I wonder what she is thinking. Such a tranquil spot.
Penny for her thoughts, eh? But I think they were having a conversation….
Lovely image – and I feel the romance too 🙂
Thanks, Indah 🙂
So tranquil, but must be a bit cool as they are well wrapped up.
Yep, summer well and truly gone!!
Brrrr
And the winds don’t help!
😦
So beautiful, I can imagine the feeling to be there… Thank you dear Sue, have a nice day and new week, love, nia
Thanks, Nia – have a good week!
oh lovely- a place of ahhh moments!
We all need ah moments in our lives!
Great colors, Sue. A serene image.
Serene – good word! Thanks, Jane 😊
Was this when the two of you met up? 🙂 🙂
No, actually!
🙂
It was a BIT warmer when we met up! And funnily enough I did visit this place the following day, as I got lost looking for somewhere else 🙂
Where was the somewhere else, Jude?
A car park along Ranmore Common Lane where you can walk on the North Downs Way – I approached from Box Hill and missed a narrow left turn, so ended up at Polesden Lacey. There is a vineyard near there too, and of course the stepping stones over the River Mole at the bottom of Box Hill would be good for photography. My ankle injury and the rain kept me away from several places I fancied visiting. Maybe you can explore some of them?
I’m hoping to go to the Stepping Stones with Sarah (Mirador Designs) sometime!
Ah, yes, she did some excellent photos of there a while ago. I am very envious of her talent.
Me too!
Such a beautiful spot, looks so peaceful. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks, Karin – you have a good day too!
This oozes serenity and quiet companionship Sue!
Thanks, Madhu – glad you liked it
