Bench Series: October (smelling the roses)

At last! I found a) a bench b) an occupied one – so I could participate in my friend Jude’s Bench Series this month! I must be the only person that hardly ever spots a bench (memo to self – must get out more).

A wander in the sunshine yesterday saw me in a rose garden, and spotted a bench occupant – she didn’t stop long, so glad I took my chance:
