Goodbye to all this, and a blogging break

Here’s a last Still Life created from some old stuff I found in my Garage, now dispersed between friends and the tip:

Goodbye to all this

Goodbye to all this….

  1. I have a fondness for found objects – and things that find new homes. (Nice wooden box. We have one. We keep thinking we will find a use for it….HA HA)

  8. Sue, you’ve nailed the art of the photographic still life. I don’t know if your break is for something specific or just to relax, but enjoy the heck out of it. We’ll look forward to your return.

  9. Sadness prevails. No more still lifes of old stuff from the clean up and a month without you. I await the resurrection!

Meg! You’re as irreverent as me…. That said, I’m sad that you are sad, you silly mare – a month isn’t long (is it?) Just think, I’ve kept some of the smaller old bits back, so there WILL be more Still Lifes to come…..

  10. Enjoy your time off and rest..looking forward to seeing you upon your return…

  11. Have a good break and good luck with everything 😀 Hopefully we’ll catch up in October!

  12. What lucky friends you have. I love that old watering can! Enjoy your break and get plenty of rest!

Enjoy your break . I hope your new ventures get off to a strong start. I am finding the urge to blog has waned at present too. Maybe we will both come back stronger in October.

  14. Hope the watering can didn’t go to the tip!!! And the crate is pretty cool too 😀
Good luck with the move, hope you settle in quickly and enjoy being off-piste for a while. But don;t forget to come back. I’ll miss your street art and still life and decay…

Watering can off to a friend’s ‘cottage’ garden, crate off to another friend! And why on earth would I not come back, with all my great blog buddies to come back to, Jude?. xx

I love your lighting in this photo—so soft and gentle. It looks like it was taken during an eclipse. Enjoy your break and come back tanned, rested and ready. Ω

  25. Have a wonderful break Sue!

  26. Stay calm, stay cool and we will see you later all refreshed, resettled and back in the blogosphere. Enjoy the break away…

  27. Rest up and take care Sue! I love the image!

  28. Sometimes one just has to get rid of old stuff. But then you created a delightful still life you can keep. Enjoy the break, Sue.

  29. I thought you might like a cup of tea and some cookies? *hugs* enjoy the break and free your mind, Susan.
