I have a fondness for found objects – and things that find new homes. (Nice wooden box. We have one. We keep thinking we will find a use for it….HA HA)
Enjoy a screen free existence and see ya’ later alligator
Thanks, Phil! 🙂
Have a wonderful Break Sue. 😀

I had loads of fun! Thanks for the good wishes, Sonel
Have a good break, Sue! …and welcome back when it’s time 🙂
Thanks, Pike! It’s going to be strange being ‘disconnected’ 🙂
I love this photo, Sue. Enjoy your rest, I will be away for a short while myself.
Take care, Pete. x
Many thanks, Pete, and have a good break yourself! 🙂
enjoy your blogging-free time
Thank you very much, Nalinki 🙂
Will be missing you…but have a nice break and enjoy getting settled! See you!
Thanks, Ann-Christine! I shall miss it all, but needs must 🙂
Have a good break Sue
Thank you, Robin!
Sue, you’ve nailed the art of the photographic still life. I don’t know if your break is for something specific or just to relax, but enjoy the heck out of it. We’ll look forward to your return.

Thanks for your lovely comment, Janet! Much appreciated. I always thought I needed complex setups for Still Life and avoided it. Then I decided to use natural light, and that was it for me!
The black and white works so well for what you’re doing.
Sadness prevails. No more still lifes of old stuff from the clean up and a month without you. I await the resurrection!
Meg! You’re as irreverent as me…. That said, I’m sad that you are sad, you silly mare – a month isn’t long (is it?) Just think, I’ve kept some of the smaller old bits back, so there WILL be more Still Lifes to come…..
Enjoy your time off and rest..looking forward to seeing you upon your return…
Thanks, Robert! Much appreciated 🙂
Have a good break and good luck with everything 😀 Hopefully we’ll catch up in October!
Thanks, Sarah, I do hope so!
Fingers crossed!
🙂
What lucky friends you have. I love that old watering can! Enjoy your break and get plenty of rest!
I’m the lucky one, I get so much support from my friends, Susan! Thanks for your good wishes 🙂
Enjoy your break . I hope your new ventures get off to a strong start. I am finding the urge to blog has waned at present too. Maybe we will both come back stronger in October.
Perhaps we will, Suzanne – let’s hope so!
Hope the watering can didn’t go to the tip!!! And the crate is pretty cool too 😀
Good luck with the move, hope you settle in quickly and enjoy being off-piste for a while. But don;t forget to come back. I’ll miss your street art and still life and decay…
Jude xx
Watering can off to a friend’s ‘cottage’ garden, crate off to another friend! And why on earth would I not come back, with all my great blog buddies to come back to, Jude?. xx
You might find other things to occupy yourself with Sue 😉
I do have other things to occupy me – but blogging has it’s place in my little world!! But for the moment, today is the absolute last day I check messages….. 🙂
Enjoy your break and have fun 🙂
Really love this still life Sue.. and the fabulous ‘real’ grunge garage feel.
Wishing you a wonderful restful break… do take care xx
Thank you, Robyn! 🙂
Great shot. Hope all is well. see you in a month.
Thanks, Gigi! 🙂
Enjoy your break Sue!
Thanks, Adrian! 🙂
Beautiful image! We will miss you. Get your rest and come back reenergized!
Thank you, Angela 🙂
I love when photography is used to create art…The image is such a rich experience for the eye; the color, shapes, how you used the elements are all just spectacular.
Glad you like it, Charlie! 🙂
Enjoy your creative break 🙂
Thanks! 😀
Here’s some tips that will lead to improvement:

…or early death 😉
Priceless!
The one with the people running from the bear is my favourite 🙂
The kiddy taking a snapshot of the open-jawed alligator……. fearless or stupid!
The adult guy is worse. These reptiles have “hairs” in their jaws which, if anything touches them, e.g. a bead of sweat, makes them snap shut whether the animal wants to or not…!
😧
Good photo to start your break on. I hope the move and the rest go well Sue
Thanks, Debbie, much appreciated 🙂
Great one to round off the series Sue! Have a good month away, take it easy and I shall look forward to seeing more still life inspiration when you return 😉 🙂
Thanks very much, Jane! 🙂
🙂
Hope you recharge well.
Thanks, Linda!
Have a good rest Sue, and will see you once you are back again!
Thanks, Janaline! Much appreciated
Bonnes vacances, Sue!
Pas les vacancies, Monsieur!
Rats, I meant Vacances….
I love your lighting in this photo—so soft and gentle. It looks like it was taken during an eclipse. Enjoy your break and come back tanned, rested and ready. Ω
Thanks Allan! 🙂
Have a wonderful time!
Thank you, Lucile!
Have a wonderful break Sue!
Thanks, Indah! 🙂
Stay calm, stay cool and we will see you later all refreshed, resettled and back in the blogosphere. Enjoy the break away…
Rest up and take care Sue! I love the image!
Thanks, Cybele! I had a good rest, and a holiday, but sorting things out after the move has rather taken it out of me!
welcome back!!! Take it easy!!
😊
Sometimes one just has to get rid of old stuff. But then you created a delightful still life you can keep. Enjoy the break, Sue.
Many thanks, Otto!
I thought you might like a cup of tea and some cookies? *hugs* enjoy the break and free your mind, Susan.
