Goodbye to all this, and a blogging break

Here’s a last Still Life created from some old stuff I found in my Garage, now dispersed between friends and the tip:

Goodbye to all this

Goodbye to all this….

Now I am taking a break from blogging for about a month, see you when I’m rested…..

  1. I have a fondness for found objects – and things that find new homes. (Nice wooden box. We have one. We keep thinking we will find a use for it….HA HA)
Enjoy a screen free existence and see ya’ later alligator

  2. Have a wonderful Break Sue. ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. Sonel

Looks like you had lots of fun taking photos of it Sue. Enjoy the blogging break. Take care. ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. Have a good break, Sue! …and welcome back when it’s time ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I love this photo, Sue. Enjoy your rest, I will be away for a short while myself.
    Take care, Pete. x

  6. enjoy your blogging-free time

  7. Will be missing you…but have a nice break and enjoy getting settled! See you!

  8. Sue, you’ve nailed the art of the photographic still life. I don’t know if your break is for something specific or just to relax, but enjoy the heck out of it. We’ll look forward to your return.

  9. Sadness prevails. No more still lifes of old stuff from the clean up and a month without you. I await the resurrection!

    • Sue

Meg! You’re as irreverent as me…. That said, I’m sad that you are sad, you silly mare – a month isn’t long (is it?) Just think, I’ve kept some of the smaller old bits back, so there WILL be more Still Lifes to come…..

  10. Enjoy your time off and rest..looking forward to seeing you upon your return…

  11. Have a good break and good luck with everything ๐Ÿ˜€ Hopefully we’ll catch up in October!

  12. What lucky friends you have. I love that old watering can! Enjoy your break and get plenty of rest!

  13. Suzanne

Enjoy your break . I hope your new ventures get off to a strong start. I am finding the urge to blog has waned at present too. Maybe we will both come back stronger in October.

  14. Hope the watering can didn’t go to the tip!!! And the crate is pretty cool too ๐Ÿ˜€
Good luck with the move, hope you settle in quickly and enjoy being off-piste for a while. But don;t forget to come back. I’ll miss your street art and still life and decay…
    Jude xx

    • Sue

Watering can off to a friend’s ‘cottage’ garden, crate off to another friend! And why on earth would I not come back, with all my great blog buddies to come back to, Jude?. xx

  15. Enjoy your break and have fun ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. Really love this still life Sue.. and the fabulous ‘real’ grunge garage feel.
Wishing you a wonderful restful break… do take care xx

  17. Great shot. Hope all is well. see you in a month.

  18. Beautiful image! We will miss you. Get your rest and come back reenergized!

  19. I love when photography is used to create art…The image is such a rich experience for the eye; the color, shapes, how you used the elements are all just spectacular.

  20. Enjoy your creative break ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. Good photo to start your break on. I hope the move and the rest go well Sue

  22. Great one to round off the series Sue! Have a good month away, take it easy and I shall look forward to seeing more still life inspiration when you return ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ™‚

  23. Have a good rest Sue, and will see you once you are back again!

  24. Allan G. Smorra

I love your lighting in this photoโ€”so soft and gentle. It looks like it was taken during an eclipse. Enjoy your break and come back tanned, rested and ready. ฮฉ

  25. Have a wonderful break Sue!

  26. Stay calm, stay cool and we will see you later all refreshed, resettled and back in the blogosphere. Enjoy the break away…

  27. Rest up and take care Sue! I love the image!

  28. Sometimes one just has to get rid of old stuff. But then you created a delightful still life you can keep. Enjoy the break, Sue.

  29. I thought you might like a cup of tea and some cookies? *hugs* enjoy the break and free your mind, Susan.

  30. Wonderful photo. Clever composition.
